Toward the world’s best research support company

We started as a specialized specimen manufacturer and have since expanded the scope of service to materials testing and chemical analysis. On August 1, 2015, the three group companies, Kobe Material Testing Laboratory, Co., Ltd., Minatogawa Kinzoku Test Piece Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Tsurui Chemical, Co., Ltd., were put together to make a great leap forward into a total testing, research, and analysis laboratory.

Since our beginning in 1947, we have worked on challenges and solutions in a wide range of fields and accumulated our technology and know-how for more than 70 years. It is our pride that we have technically supported Japan’s core industries—aerospace, energy, automobile, and life sciences.

Increasingly competitive global markets demand manufacturing companies enhance their technology and new product development capabilities. In this accelerating technological innovation, KMTL will make a difference in society by exploring the world of materials from various aspects and supporting your research activities.

Based on our three pillars of excellence―world-recognized quality assurance system, integrated traceable testing system, and independent third party laboratory, and our mission―to delight and inspire customers by providing the most reliable data in the world and make a difference in society, we move forward to be the world’s best research support company.

We look forward to your continuing support and cooperation.
