MEMORIAL TOWER

Memorial Tower

神戸工業試験場では、破壊され、捨てられていく”試験片”に対し、”試験片供養塔”を建立し、供養することで、せめてもの感謝の気持ちを形にしています。

-Inscription-

Since the Meiji era (1866-1912), untold billions of test specimens have been manufactured for the development of Japanese industry. No matter how splendidly they are made and no matter how much effort is put into them, they are destined to be thrown away as scrap metal once the test is completed. A memorial service for test specimens is my way of expressing my appreciation and gratitude, and it has been my long-cherished wish. Therefore, I have erected this monument for test specimens on this land, and at the same time, I pray for the happiness of those who are involved.
