We are delighted to present our newly created brochure that focuses on the evaluation of material fatigue property evaluation using an ultrasonic fatigue testing machine.
In high-strength steels, such as bearing steels, it is well-known that fatigue failure can occur in a range exceeding 107 cycles, even when operating below the fatigue limit of the steel. Inclusions are often identified as the primary cause of fatigue initiation in such cases.
However, obtaining test data in the gigacycle range (109 cycles) has been a laborious and lengthy undertaking due to the limitation of maximum test speeds achieved by hydraulic fatigue testing machines and rotation bending fatigue testing machines (30 to 100 Hz).
To address this challenge, we have introduced an ultrasonic fatigue testing machine that utilizes specimen resonance to conduct fatigue testing at 20 kHz. This brochure provides comprehensive details about out testing methodology and the services we can offer.
